Laboratory Tests for Hair Loss

Hair Lab Tests

Laboratory test results are an integral component of health information. In the past ordering of laboratory tests was limited to physicians. Now clients and consumers have the option to order and pay for their own tests. It is your responsibility to consult first with your health care provider about any lab testing that you may be considering. It is also important to follow up with your health care provider to discuss your results within the context of your medical history. These hair lab tests are a guide to the most commonly requested tests for hair loss issues at Ulta Lab Tests. This list may assist you and your physician to select specific hair loss panels, discuss possible cause(s) and hopefully help to establish a plan of action, whenever feasible.

To reiterate, lab tests purchased at Ulta Lab Tests are your financial responsibility and can not be reimbursed by insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. When you seek insurance reimbursement, you’ll need to schedule any test with your insurance affiliated provider.

Before starting your lab order process please note that only your provider can help interpret the results of your blood test. It is not within the scope of practice for Ulta Lab Test, or Remedi Hair Solutions staff to review this information with you. Therefore, please ensure your provider also receives a copy of your lab test results to review with you  at your next appointment.

Ulta Lab Tests is a non-physician website for our clients and customers who prefer to buy their own lab test without going to their insurance for reimbursement [1]. In Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio consumers may purchase lab tests directly.

Regardless of your decision or your physician’s decision, reversing hair loss is a journey and, therefore, we offer medical-grade wigs (cranial prosthesis) for partial or full head coverage. Our selection is top quality and all wigs are custom styled and can be colored, so you don’t have to worry about not looking your best!
